INTUITIVE
REMOTE CONTROL
The remote control is designed to be user-friendly,
making the operation of the advanced OSIM uPilot
easy for just about anyone. It gives you full
control over the means to a deeply satisfying
massage experience.
Every stage of the massage session is displayed
on the VFD screen in real-time to keep you informed
and in control. A voice prompter alerts you
gently during the course of the massage programme,
allowing you to close your eyes and enjoy the
relaxation.
AUTOMATIC FOOTREST ADJUSTMENT
This is an innovative feature of the OSIM uPilot,
where the footrest automatically extends or
retracts to suit your height. The air bags are
moved into the optimal position at your calves,
ankles and feet, accommodating every unique
body shape and size.
SMOOTH RECLINE
The smooth recline feature moves the footrest
and backrest together in one continuous motion.
This fluidity lowers your body gently from the
seated position to the lying position, and vice
versa.
FOOT REFLEXOLOGY
Protruding nodes on the reflexology mat stimulate
the acupressure points on the soles of your
feet, giving you the health benefits of a foot
reflexology massage.
ANTI-BACTERIAL COATING
The high quality and durable upholstery is coated
with an anti-bacterial layer to ensure the highest
level of hygiene and comfort.
The Designer
Massage Chair
Chiaki Murata is
one of the most accomplished and influential designers
in Japan. Since the establishment of Hers Experimental
Design Laboratory in 1986, Murata has been actively
involved in a wide range of design activities such
as product graphics, corporate identity and interface
design. He has won multiple awards, including the
G-Mark Gold Award in 2001 and Special Award by Japan's
SME Agency in 2005. Chiaki Murata was engaged by
Microsoft to design the console for the Xbox 360
in 2005. In the same year, he announced the creation
of Metaphys to develop a range of designer products
that would meet the functional needs of consumers.
In his approach to the OSIM
uPilot, Chiaki Murata felt that the modern massage
chair should rise above its image to become more
than just a functional machine. It must be able
to please the aesthetic senses of the user, to
have artistic appeal as an interior design piece
to own. By focusing on these principles, Chiaki
Murata delivered his inspired design for the OSIM
uPilot. With its grand distinguished form and
detailed contours, the OSIM uPilot exudes an air
of luxurious elegance that commands
centrepiece attention in any room.
In addition, the introduction of ROBO-Stic as
a new concept in the operation of a massage chair
is a stroke of design creativity that fulfils
a key element of what outstanding product design
is about :making beautiful products that meet
the needs of the user.

The rollers are affixed on flexible swivels, and
they mimic the gentle hands of an experienced masseur.
Use the ROBO-Stic to guide them along the back and
shoulders for kneading, tapping and rolling massages
that are as life-like as can be.
AIR BAG
MASSAGE
Air bags are strategically positioned to effectively
massage the lower body. Their inflating and deflating
actions deliver a strong pushing massage on the
hips and legs as well as firm squeezing action on
the calves, ankles and feet to relieve stiffness
and fatigue.
VIBRATION MASSAGE
Vibration emitters located at the backrest and footrest
send soothing pulsations to revitalise tired muscles
and promote blood circulation.
